Cute pictures of Kennedy!

Taking her first bath in our brand new kitchen sink (we were without ANY sinks in the house for about a week; doing dishes in the bathtub is NOT fun!)

She loves her afternoon rides on the Kubota with Daddy!

Reading up on the history of Wisconsin.

Macy's & Anthropologie...like mother, like daughter!

Her brand new walker, and her outfit matches too :-).

The Lafayette County Fair

Last weekend we had the opportunity to experience the Lafayette County Fair, which is one county to the west of us. We went on Saturday night for the Tractor Pull...we had such a good time! It was definitely something to see...cut-off t-shirts, coozies (Boomer, you would love it!), and mullets are common place, and man, these people like to have a good time! I had fried cheese curds for the first time...very tasty. Oh, another thing is that American beer is huge here, which you imagine...I asked the bartender what kind of beer they had and he told me they had anything I could want, I asked for a Corona and he said, "Well, no Corona, but we have Coors, Coors Light, Bud, Bud Light, Miller, Miller Light, Busch and Busch Light :-). Here are a few pictures...

Everyone had coozies!

Cut-off t-shirts galore!

Kennedy is crawling!

Kennedy has been army crawling for awhile, but now she does that less and less and is full on crawling...she is getting harder and harder to keep contained :-). Here is a video of her crawling...I couldn't get a side angle because she kept coming for the camera!

Happy Belated 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July...well, besides our air conditioning being out it was great! We went to Monroe (which is about 15 minutes away) to watch the fireworks. We were about to walk to the park when Terri (she is in charge of the calves at the dairy) called us and told us to come over to her friend's house to celebrate with them. We had a wonderful time there...we met some great people and when the rainstorm came we had cover, which was a huge plus. Yes, there was a rainstorm, but the fireworks still went on!

Paul and Kennedy with Clayton and Cole (Terri's boys)

The view from Shelly's front porch.

Hanging out @ Home Depot!

So, the last couple of years we have spent MORE than enough time at Home Depot. Kennedy has unhappily logged in quite a few hours herself, but now that we found this great cart it is a whole new story! She thought she was such a big girl.

Our Wisconsin House (the before!)

We started remodeling the WI house in the middle of April and a lot has been done since, but I thought I should show you "the before" first! I didn't take any pictures, but I have a few videos...the one of the inside was so big I had to break it down into 3 small videos in order to upload it. My video skills leave a lot to be desired...I apologize if you get sick :-)!

Saying goodbye to our first home!

June was a very sad month as we left our first home in Point Reyes Station, California for the great state of Wisconsin! For those of you who may not know, Paul received the opportunity to manage my dad and uncle's dairy in Wisconsin and took it. Life has been crazy since March when we made the decision to move and things have just started to slow down, so I now have time to start our blog. I thought I would start with some pictures of our first home on Giacomini Road...it was the perfect starter home where we made many great memories in a few short years and brought home our baby girl, Kennedy. We still own it and are renting it out as a vacation rental, which is going very well. I didn't get any pictures of the bedrooms before we redecorated them for the vacation rental, but everything else looks the same, so you can see how cozy it was...we loved living here!
